Alexander Mar is a man with everything to live for. It's a shame that he's been struck by a strange new illness that's literally eating away at his body.
Left with barely a few years to live, he agrees to undergo an experimental cryogenic stasis method being put into place by his fiancé's pharmaceutical company.
Originally meant to sleep for only a few years, maybe a couple of decades, he is shocked to wake up an unknown amount of time later.
Now stuck in a world he doesn't know, with mutants and monsters abound, he must find a path for his own evolution, to reach the height of power needed to find the answers he seeks.
