Listen here, because I've seen it with my very own eyes.
William Oh was born on the hundredth floor of The Tower, to the greatest Climbers of the ancient world, steeped in the Tower's lethal miasma from the moment he drew breath, giving him strange and unnatural powers.
They say he is an immortal being who circles the dreams of mortal men, resurfacing wherever the need is greatest. Those who disparage him will fall into despair, but if you're a Climber in a tight scrape, look to the sky and say a little prayer.
Maybe he will appear?
Odds are probably better if you pay for my drink.

Really like it, author uses too much noun/verb
Reviewed at: Chapter 5: Resourceful Climber
The magic system is slightly standard for litrpjg but it's done in a very unique way. I've never seen anyone use monsters as the source of human abilities and it's done really well.
I read about 20 chapters before I started to feel anxious and I couldn't figure out why. So I started dissecting each page and found the author is super focused on things and their movement. There were a few pages where that's all that was there; how the MC moved/used an ability and how the monster acted. I mean sure it was an action scene and you use those to describe action. But even between battles it's mostly what can the MC buy. So it's good at action, but there should be more color or feelings or IDK, something.
I'll keep reading, but since it makes me feel kind of off to read too much I'll just do a few chapters at a time.

William Oh will become a Lord

I love everything about this book. William Oh grew up in poverty. He has the highly developed senses of someone who grew up in a dangerous environment: hyper vigilance towards the body language and emotional states of others, and a very high emotional intelligence. He knows how to tell friend from foe, how to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements with rivals, and how to do right by a person while still hedging against betrayal. His biggest weakness is his lack of education, but he's growing a polysyllabic vocabulary one word at a time.
Another character of a different species confessed a one-sided crush on him recently. I myself am holding out hope that they'll find some sort of shape shifting equipment, to complicate the matter.

Amazing

A wonderful balance of serious action and comedic genius, the perfect meld of clueless MC and brilliant protagonist. Reminds me a lot of Saitama in One Punch Man, but less punching and more tricks. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the comic above, op mc, and all things fun!

Wow! Just Wow! Bravo!

Right. I'll start with the positives
1. The premise is very unique. I can safely say I've never seen such an interpretation of a tower climber fantasy. it also smoothly ties into the magic system which is actually fairly easy to understand. Its a big oart of the story and its done well enough that its fed slowly to the reader. at no point did I feel like explanations were slowing down the story and making it cumbersome. Again, really well done.
2. Characters are very well fleshed out and are so interesting. They also interact really well with the overall plot and the different motivations and goals feel very organic. The MC is a bit too smart and capable at times but not too much.
3. Good prose and grammar. Very easy to follow without the story suffering in quality. It's also consistently improved from chapter one to where I've reached so far.
4. I also like the pace. It ramps up a bit quicker than most but the author does well to keep us grounded. But I understand this is a preference thing, personally I hate "filler arcs". While this one doesn't have that I also have to acknowledge how much the author skips preparation moments or the moments in between the action.
Now the potential improvements.
1. Some characters are too OP too quickly. but its actually not so bad. But It ties into the story well. like purposefully leaning into it. Some people might not like that. 60/40 ratio foe thos who want a hard scale on over poweredness hehe
2. The start needs some tweaking. Hard to follow in terms of new concepts being crammed into the reader too quickly. Compared to the rest of the story the start does a bit of a disservice for me.
3. Back to the OP aspect. I think more could be done to explain why or at least hint to it. But again, I don't think its bad. Just knowing there's a lot of people with hate boners for OP characters and the prejudice of anything that could hint at that.
Overall ever since I picked this up I haven't been able to put it down. Absolutely fantastic so far. Kudos to the author for this unique gem.

Really Fun and pretty amusung

I am really enjoying this story and pretty much read it nonstop the past couple of days. My only wish is that there were more chapters out, since I just caught up. Bravo for the story and kudos to the author. There is lots of action, cool characters, and a nifty system, but it is the snippets and scraps revealed of the world building that truly has me intrigued. Two thumbs up!

Keeps me guessing and laughing

Absolutely love William Oh. Look forward to each chapter to see what random trouble Will gets himself into (and out of). Super fun read. I think out of all the books I follow on RR I end up re-reading this the most. Very unique character and development that keeps it fresh and exciting each chapter.

I don't have much to say aside from, this book is hilarious. I love the hype man, and the action is so good. William is an amazing character and the world is well done. I've still got questions, but 20 chapters in, I would expect to have some questions.
Nice job!

The main character is too op

Im not sure how old the mc is but he doesn't act like the kid he is supposed to be(?)
The character work is pretty decent. I wish there would be more interaction between characters most of the characters disappear almost immediately.
Now the main thing I don't like. Things happen to easily to the main character. He is born with an item that everyone needs. His legend spreads like wildfire even though he doesn't do that much to justify it. He fights higher levels creatures no problem. It kinda cheapens the achievements. At least to my mind.

Another amazing Macronomicon book

I really enjoy everything Macronomicon puts out. He has a wide variety of genres within the litrpg umbrella and hits it out of the park everytime. This one is no different. Great take on the tower climbing genre with unique mechanics, great world building and a good balance of show don't tell, verses explainations of the system and world.
It's funny, it's suspensfull, it is exciting and satisfying. It moves pretty quickly along with an entertaining story.

Great! As always!

Come on it's a story about William Oh the legendary! It's all-round great! I have been a fan of the Authors previous works and let me tell you this: This one so far tops all of them, it is just amazing in all aspects such as comedy, world-building, characterinteraction, grammar and the works. (Not to demean the other stories I like them too, but in my personal opinion this one is just so good).
