The cards
Where the paintings come from, how the deck is dealt, and what you may do with the pictures.
The paintings
The cards are FlickerTale: The First Pack. Every one is AI-assisted artwork: painted by an image model from a scene written for the game in one shared style, then chosen by hand. A painting that does not belong is sent back before it joins the deck. Every card is painted for a general audience.
The deck and your hand
Every game deals from every card the site has, shuffled. A table cannot choose packs.
You hold six cards, or seven when exactly three people are playing; the host can change this before the game begins. After each round everyone draws back up. When the deck runs out, the played cards are shuffled back in.
Some ways to play add cards straight from the deck to the reveal, as extra decoys that nobody played. A guess on one scores nobody. The rules reference lists every setting.
Making your own
You cannot make, upload or add your own cards.
Sharing the pictures
The paintings are shared under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt them, for any purpose, as long as you credit FlickerTale and link to the licence. See credits.
Something wrong with a card
If a painting looks broken, or something in one bothers you, leave a note and say what you saw. Report a problem in the menu adds the room and the moment in the game for you.
